Pomeranian biotech companies expand into the USA and Asia
Pomeranian companies operating in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical devices sectors are strengthening their presence in international markets. As one of the region’s most innovative industries, the sector thrives on close collaboration between businesses, universities, and research and development institutions. Thanks to cutting-edge technologies and highly skilled expertise, Pomeranian companies are successfully showcasing their solutions at leading global industry events. In June, they represented the region at one of the world's premier pharmaceutical trade fairs in the United States, and this August they will bring their innovations to Asia.
Pomerania at CPHI Americas 2026
In early June, four Pomeranian companies took part in CPHI Americas 2026 in Philadelphia. The event is one of the largest and most prestigious gatherings for the global pharmaceutical industry, bringing together experts in medicine development, manufacturing, outsourcing, supply chains, regulatory affairs, investment, and emerging technologies.
This year's edition attracted more than 370 exhibitors and 3,700 participants from around the world.
As part of the biotechnology industry group established under the Pomeranian Export Broker 2030 project, the following companies showcased their offerings at the regional stand:

- Spark-Lab,
- Phage Consultants.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to explore the latest market trends, establish valuable business connections, and meet with potential partners interested in cooperation within the fast-growing U.S. market.
Next Stop: South Korea
The international expansion of Pomeranian businesses does not end there. In August, representatives of the region will participate in CPHI Korea in Seoul - an event that opens the door to one of the world's most innovative pharmaceutical and technology markets.
The exhibition brings together pharmaceutical manufacturers, API suppliers, biotechnology companies, CDMOs (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations), laboratories, investors, and key decision-makers from across the Asia-Pacific region.
Last year's edition welcomed more than 10,700 participants from 65 countries and regions, along with 418 exhibitors representing 22 countries.
For Pomeranian companies, the event will provide an excellent opportunity to showcase their products, services, technologies, and innovative solutions while building valuable business relationships and exploring new partnerships in high-potential Asian markets.
The growing international presence of Pomeranian companies demonstrates that innovations developed in the region are successfully competing on the global stage and attracting increasing interest from international partners.

Pomeranian companies to participate in the APAC Wind Energy Summit
The Pomerania Development Agency is organising a trip as part of the Pomeranian Export Broker 2030 project to the APAC Wind Energy Summit event, which will take place on 6-18 September 2025 in Melbourne.
